Village Kage.

I'm not sure how I can get this across without sounding mean, rude, or any other such thing.
But here goes.

As you all know, me and Takezo haven't gotten on, at all for the most part. Essay had to go to some camp, and couldn't get online much. But the fights between Me and Takezo seemed to have pushed him to leave even sooner.
He was obviously fed up with us, and as you know gave Kage-ship back to Riex and left.

Now, this is where the problem lies. Riex doesn't have the time to come on, and hasn't been online in 3-4 days. That isn't good for a Kage or the village's growth. Me and Takezo are fine with each other now.
I'll show you some of the messages between us.

The point I'm trying to make is though, we need a new active Kage. I was going to be leaving soon anyway, so it didn't really bother me how the village was going to turn out. But since me and Takezo are alright now, I've decided to stay for the moment.

I've tried to contact riex, and asked him if he'd like me to look after the village until he had more time to come on. No reply. But I guess that's because he hasn't been on.

Takezo suggested to me that I should be Kage, and I don't mind just looking after the village till riex is able to come on alot more. I was just wondering how the rest of the villagers felt about this, as if enough members agree with this, then riex should be more willing to allow this.

No worries, I am the same. I really was just trying to bring the village together, get it organized, and try and help the village run better.

Riex and Essay didn't do much of that, I do honestly think we need a bit more discipline and become closer as a village in whole, and work together.

We should all try and respect each other, and get this village organized if we ever want to become a really well known and well built village.

It's seems Riex being absent was the reason Essay was the leader, so why don't you ask Riex for you to take over as leader and I'll back you up!!! XD

Lol, I've tried. He hasn't been on for like 2 - 3 days, if we could possibly get the villagers to speak up and request for me to be leader, then he might be more likely to.

Of course, if I had your support, the villagers might agree too.

Let's just hope he comes on sometime soon, although I might be leaving soon to put my main in Blazon for a short while, but I wouldn't want my Alt being Kage, so I might just have to wait for a while. Who know's.

So that's that.

I wouldn't have to make a new village right away, and we could hopefully try and bring this village back together.
Of course, if I was Kage, I would make some changes to the village, and I would be getting people to start communicating with each other a bit more.

I don't know what else to say really, so I'll leave it up to you guys.

Thanks you two. It'd be nice to get aload of ideas shared around the village, how people would like the village to be run ect ect.

The thing we really need, is an Active Kage, I mean .. I'm on ATLEAST once a day, usually more. (I come on every now and then to check messages ect).

You are interested in the development of the village as a whole (as we all should be) and seem to like interacting with the villagers (which is a bit more difficult).
While some might call it nagging, my own sense of fairness agrees with your bids for a better management of the storehouse (and so do other villagers, as seen by several comments).
Enforce some rules on this, not to impede but to be fair to all villagers.
I would also appreciate a bit more interaction between villagers, but I have no idea of how. Have to think about it.
My erstwhile offer concerning a prospective new village still stands for this one.

Klyoh, I agree.

I do think the village needs some firm rules, and needs to be gently pushed in the right direction. We shouldn't have to force people to communicate with each other, or be forced to do things. But sometimes being forced to do something can lead to a better outcome.

If you force something slightly, and give it a nudge, it can be alot more help than some realise.
For example ..

If I was to force the villagers to say hello when they log on, and force others to reply and say hello too, we'd become closer as a village, get to know each other, and end up working better as a team.

We could plan percise attacks, organize events, kill tons more monsters and possibly get the villagers more and more monster drops of their own. I write alot of stuff down when it comes to things like keeping track. I'd record who attacked the monster most, who did and didn't get the drop ect and stuff like that.

Obviously such ideas would take a while to get the hang of, but I'm sure people can see where I'm going with this.

I fully support you being made the new kage for the village, seeing riex being so inactive in the village right now.

It's not his fault entirely, Essay gave back the permission so suddenly. And Riex is busy too.

But yeah, we'd benefit a bit more from a Kage who has time to come on, it's not riex's fault he can't get on.

I voted for Blazer not to show that Essay or Riex are poor kages, just felt like Blazer was treated as the kage for soo long to me.

Thank you Nig, I don't see how I was treated as the Kage for so long, but I thank you in your support.
We have two choices here, although they're not much of a choice.

1) Riex log's on soon, and accepts this and gives me Kage-ship.
Or
2) After 14 days, Riex will be removed as Kage due to Inactivity, and the person who get's new Kage-ship passes it to me. (Let's hope it doesn't get passed to another inactive member)

I'm not sure how it determines the new kage, but we'll see.

well i will put one for blazer.......but about the point of saying hello and reply that should be pretty tough to implicate,especially even when i am logged i am not much active as i just leave it open and check only in abt every half an hour(got to check ma alts too)
moreover village log cannot exceed 400 messages so i guess it is better if all who log in the village log also in the forum(helps two ways -increases the use of forums and can discuss more things)

I wish riex would give his input on this. He's been online on the village, and on here. But he hasn't said anything. If he hate's the idea, then I wish he'd say something about it.

It just got a bit hectic since you wasn't on and I understand you've been really busy lately.

Personally I don't really care who the kage is as long as he/she is active (checking the village at least 2-3 times a day)

So Im gonna wait till riex gets better and see how he does (I never really had the chance to see how riex manage the village)

What we really need is village councils who can provides back up to kage when he/she is not online. That way we'll have more efficient 'trade'/villager coming in/out or even buy upgrades as soon as we get the necessary resource/money.
